Savannah possesses a mystical beauty, as sweet and dark as a box of chocolates (yeah.. I said it). So much that Drea and Mike fell in a deep trancelike love with the way the city celebrates its own haunting charm. They knew they wanted something different, so these two Park Slopers chose drifting Georgian Spanish moss and railcars instead of Brooklyn's graffiti-ridden warehouses for their destination wedding. We hung out with them all weekend in the historical district of downtown Savannah, getting to know the couple's families and our surroundings as best we could. From the rooftops to the town squares to the ghost tour, through every second and inch of their wedding at the Railroad Museum, to karaoke at the punk rock bar for the after party... We did it all, and couldn't have felt more welcomed by these New Yorker's week long spurt of southern living and hospitality. Capturing these moments was the best of times. Thanks for allowing us to be by your sides through it all.
