Soft giant yellow and orange leaves zig zagged into the path of our car as we drove the backroads of Bedford, New York on our way to the groom’s parents house. Estate sale signs and farm stands. Crisp air invited a congregation of Minnesotans to the cold sun of this backyard affair. Comfort and class paraded the air between guests as the ceremony bathed the moment. Then the sun skated back behind the trees, and the roller derby girls danced the night away to Wu Tang and Black Sheep. This is modern love.
