This was my first time visiting The Henson, and I fell right in love with her the moment I stepped inside. She’s a small, sexy boutique hotel, but mighty and absolutely perfect for small weddings, but I hear they are extending to also offer 200-person weddings. Sooooo we have options? The interior design is what got me. Whoever did it, I have a crush on. They blend mid-century vintage and cozy modern in the warmest way, with so many thoughtful touches. The natural light is oozing gorgeous everywhere. Did I hold back? Hell no, I went nuts taking photos everywhere I possibly could. I had a heyday.

Val & Chris’s wedding was a chill 45-guest affair, so hosting dinner at their restaurant, Matilda, was brilliant. And because they sat me at a table alongside guests, I can confirm that dinner was delish. Chefs kiss!!

Afterward, we moved over to the adjacent bar to dance off dessert (I love a transition room), and to my delight, my feet led me to the smallest checkerboard dance floor Ive ever seen in my life, and for 45 people, it hit!! The dancefloor was packed and sweaty in no time. It kinda felt like a house party, and for this, I have no notes.
