40 of Our Favorite Catskills and Hudson Valley Wedding Venues of 2026
There must be twice as many venues upstate as in the city, and since we work so much in this region (we have a home here), we're frequently asked for recs on our favorite Catskill & Hudson Valley venues and vendors. As someone who has over a decade of experience documenting weddings in this region, ad who lives here now, the biggest piece of advice I can give you on choosing an upstate venue is this:
The venue you choose should have a rain plan that you genuinely love.
Being on the East Coast, chances are high that covered spaces will be relied upon to keep everyone comfortable and dry. If the venue does not include an inclement-weather backup plan (multiple indoor spaces, a tent, generators, etc.), you will need to budget for it. I think it’s worth noting that Im writing this on my porch at 4pm on the only Saturday I have off this September and….. it is raining buckets.
After a decade of shooting weddings all over New York, here’s a list of Catskills and Hudson Valley wedding venues for you to check out.
For pricing & capacity - please ask them or refer to the wedding planners listed below.
